The primary responsibility of the Shipping Clerk is to assist in a variety of warehouse duties. The Clerk will perform shipping and receiving , stocking activities, stores and distributes supplies and equipment. In addition working with the purchasing department to maintain product stock based on current and future job requirements. The Shipping Clerk requires knowledge of principles and practices of shipping, bills of lading, receiving, and work safety in a manufacturing environment. The Clerk will have basic computer experience. Experience with warehouse equipment including tools and materials used in inventory operations. This position is in Houston, TX. Candidate must be at least 18 years old and possess a High School Diploma or GED and have 1-2 year experience in a shipping and receiving capacity.
